What Happened, GremioPower?! [Pre-Season]

I swear I am still here. I won't let this blog die. I am simply working more lately [I am writing on Politics and related themes for three websites], and this is not a paid job. Since we are still in preseason-mode, even though I am paying attention to what is going on in Alberton, I have left "Far-West Footy" behind in my list of priorities - hopefully not for long.

---

I know about our injuries, the new major sponsor, the co-captaincy controversy, the Port v Port match, etc. I am also interested in what will come out from the Members' Convention - I think it was a humongous mistake making it more expensive, away from the club, and in a bigger venue [what were they thinking?!]; still, I want to know how they will, if they will, justify our last season's debacle, and what they think it should be done and what have been done to avoid that. Both what they will say and what they won't say are important.

I don't have this year's international membership [if there are people willing to share it with me, I would appreciate it a lot!]. So far, I am expecting to follow the team like I did in 2017: radio, news media, BigFooty, and highlights. Still, I will follow the games regardless. I will need to use my imagination to suply me with that my eyes won't be able to see, but, alas!, one does what one can do.

I hope it will be enough to give you an interesting perspective on our beloved Port Adelaide Football Club and the Power. After all, this blog is on "the struggles of following the Port Adelaide Football Club from the other side of the globe." I have never had any hope this would be an easy enterprise!

Thank you for your support to my writings here at Far-West Footy. I will be back with more.

CARN THE POWER!
